Why? just a souvenir.

ReplyDeleteاما الاشاء الاخرى فهي اما مجرد عقيدة مغلوطة أو مجرد أشياء أبتدعها أسلاف أسلاف أسلافنا و أسلاف الكثير

iDip, How do you know the water you dip your self in isn't holy?
ReplyDeleteTry to dip a wounded finger of someone who believes in you in a water you dipped your self in to heal that someone.. and tell me the results :)
Because you don’t spit in the water you dip yourself in, try it and see how holy it gets. :p

Don't know if it is special, but if you are ever attacked by a vampire you can spill the water on him and it will make his flesh steam, at least it works on buffy, underworld and blade.

To answer your question, it is belief first.
Symbolism comes later, followed by ignorance.
And to respond to Ayya's comment,
Water has many strange physical properties. And poses a challenge to researcher in Quantum Physics.
As an example, in a container of boiling water, a small number of clusters of water molecules keep switching. back anf forth, from gas to liquid , and to ice crystals.
Water seems, somehow, to have some kind of "memory".
Of course, it can just as easily be dismissed as a result of the random breaking and bonding of Oxygen and Hydrogen atoms.
